Academy Health Pre-Conference on Community Benefit (June 11)

Readers may recall last summer's post calling for population health advocates to send comments into the IRS regarding the Community Benefit provisions of the tax code. While no IRS revisions have yet been announced, there is great potential for this stream of funding to enhance population health investments as the uninsured gain coverage.

 

To explore these issues more fully, St Louis University and the Hilltop Institute are sponsoring a one day Academy Health pre-conference on Community Benefit June 11 in Seattle. Information can be found here. I'll be moderating an afternoon panel and would love to see many of you there.
